Role Overview
Global Pragmatic Solutions is looking for a visionary Sr / Lead Engineer – Cloud to spearhead our cloud infrastructure and platform initiatives. This is a high-impact role requiring a deep understanding of hybrid-cloud ecosystems, automation, and the migration of mission-critical Oracle workloads. You will lead technical delivery teams, design resilient architectures, and ensure that our clients’ cloud foundations are optimized for the era of Artificial Intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and highly available Cloud architectures (OCI, AWS, or Azure).
- Migration Excellence: Architect and execute complex migration strategies for moving legacy Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or hybrid environments.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Drive automation by developing and maintaining Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation scripts to ensure “Environment as Code” consistency.
- AI-Ready Infrastructure: Collaborate with our AI team to build and optimize high-performance computing (HPC) clusters and data lakes required for LLM and ML model training.
- Security & Compliance: Implement “Security by Design” using Zero Trust architectures, identity management, and advanced encryption standards.
- Technical Mentorship: Lead a team of junior and mid-level engineers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence and agile delivery.
Technical Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years in IT Infrastructure, with at least 4+ years dedicated to Cloud Engineering and Architecture.
- Cloud Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is highly preferred. Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is also required.
- Oracle Ecosystem: Strong understanding of Oracle database technologies and how they interface with cloud networking (VCN, FastConnect, Load Balancing).
- DevOps Toolchain: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/OKE).
- Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for custom automation and tooling.

- Proven ability to communicate complex technical roadmaps to non-technical stakeholders.
- A “Pragmatic” mindset: prioritizing stability, security, and ROI over “tech for tech’s sake.”
- Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure, live-production migration scenarios.
